This past weekend we accomplished something on our “DIY To Do” list and I’m sharing the easy project with you today.

I’m sure you have or have had one of these inexpensive full length mirrors in your home at some point like us.

Here is an easy upgrade idea. We purchased a piece of bead board from the hardware store and had it cut to a size we wanted at the store. I found this decorative piece of wood curbside with some cabinets someone was throwing away on bulk trash day last year and it’s been waiting in our garage for the right project. You could always purchase something similar at home improvement stores.

We nailed our pieces together and painted it all a glossy white.

I’m thrilled with the result! Something so simple makes such a big difference, wouldn’t you agree?
