The last school bell of the year has sounded. The kids are all yours for a few weeks. Sure, there are a couple holidays in there, but it mark my words. It won’t be too long until you hear the words, “I’m bored!”
There’s a solution out there. And it is free, gloriously free. And I’ve been addicted to it for quite some time now. I’m full-fledged in love with Pinterest. http://pinterest.com/ If you haven’t checked it out yet, do so. Right now.
Pinterest is a website where you can visually organize and collect the places on the Internet and the photographs that you love. It is also a place where you can find inspiration, ideas and just about anything else you’re looking for.
If you’re looking for something to do with the kids during break, search for “Christmas Break.” You will instantly be given idea upon idea of art projects, crafts, cooking and other stuff that will entertain both you and the little ones until school starts again.
You will be amazed at all of the fun things that are collected, or pinned, on this site. I found my cookie exchange recipe on Pinterest. I found recipes for dinner on Pinterest. I found craft projects. I’ve found scrapbooking ideas. I’ve found pictures of places I want to visit. I’ve found blogs that I now love. And the cool part is I’ve actually done so many of the projects and ideas I’ve found on Pinterest that I can actually almost justify how much time I’ve spent on the site.
