Six Months-Where Does The Time Go?

I cannot believe that my grandson is already 6 months old as of yesterday! Good grief…where does the time go?

This grand parenting thing is a taste of heaven, and I can’t imagine life without this little guy. My husband, who is retired, is especially blessed to see him at least three times each week and I get  to see him at least once a week (thankfully, they live locally).

The time clock of life is sometimes ticking too fast for me and I want to slow it down…I don’t want to miss anything! I was reflecting the other day as we were all sitting around talking about what the future holds…what will potentially “rock our world”?, what awaits our family plans?, what will our grandson be drawn to?…the things we enjoy?, who will influence him the most? (Opa…my husband…says it will be him…hehe), and will we be around to see all the amazing stages of his development? If I ponder too long, I am overwhelmed and the stir of concern creeps in…I need to relax, pray, and hope for the most positive happenings.

I do look forward to his first Halloween costume (already picked out a monkey…appropriately reflects his demeanor!), the first family Thanksgiving with him…and Baby’s First Christmas at our house!

I hope you are enjoying life, that there are blessings (even if you need to look hard for them), and lots of love and support.
