I read about a Pop-Tart store that has “popped-up” in New York’s Times Square…apparently you can custom order your ideal tart, make suggestions for new ones, and buy a t-shirt!

Wow, in this economy, I would certainly hesitate opening a store that focuses on one product. There are two other stores in the vicinity though that have done well…a Hershey’s and M&M’s stores.

They say that 2 billion pop-tarts are sold every year and they have been around for about 50 years.

I wish them well and if I’m ever in NY, I’ll definitely check them out and order a peanut butter and low-sugar jelly, with whole wheat dough and no frosting. What?!? No way, if I’m going to order one it’s going to be loaded and I’m going to roll out of there!
