Kids Punk’d by Kraft on Field Trip

These kids got punk’d on their field trip for a Lunchables commercial. While the aliens might need pre-packaged, high-sodium nibbles on their long, fake space missions (could go great with Tang), do the kids really need to be involved this kind of production to promote junk food?

What in the world is all of this about? Lunchables is giving away 50 field educational trips nationwide. I’m going to guess none of those focus on nutritional benefits or go anywhere near Jamie Oliver and his Food Revolution.

What are your thoughts on Kraft marketing its Lunchables as a cause to benefit kids? (Obviously, you know mine.)

  1. Cause marketing should feel good and spread good news. I can’t see kids feeling good after eating a bunch of crackers for lunch, and the news that aliens don’t exist is awful. Nanu nanu.
