I can’t thank you enough…

…that’s what I would say to all you veterans of the armed forces and those who currently serve if I could virtually “yell it from the mountain tops”.

I know there are varying opinions and philosophies about your military engagement, involvement, strategies, spending, training, occupation on foreign soil, “don’t ask, don’t tell” rescinding, and on and on.

This is how it is for me-I certainly could debate either side of the aisle and even a more moderate approach, but when all is said and done, it took and takes a sacrifice, a commitment, and certainly great courage and heart to be a soldier.

I for one applaud you on this Memorial Day 2010; I do not and will not forgot what you have done to keep me free and safe and have the ability to to speak out.

I pray for you and for protection when you are in harms way, courage when you are lonely and deployed away from friends and family, and intelligence when you need to plan strategies. Most of all, I pray that you know you are loved, supported and cheered.

Thanks again for fighting the “good fight”.
