What a a fantabulous Fresno-y weekend this was! It was full of community involvement, new friends, and family.

On Saturday, I took my entourage to Kearney Park where we got to taste some fabulous dishes at the Taste Fresno Tri-Tip cook off. I even entered my own salad into the side dish competition, which was cool…I wasn’t even planning on that! I got to meet some people I’ve read about through various blogs, too…which was FUN!

BBQ  in the park is the BEST!!

And…the cool vibe that started at Kearney continued well into Sunday. After church, we came home and I cooked up some salmon patties, salad, and watermelon, and the fam bam ate it under the big tree in the backyard.

Then reality hit, and we cleaned house (haha).

But while it lasted, the Taste Fresno event took us away to another world while we hung out and enjoyed good food and conversation.

What great memories. Let’s do it again!
